Is it Dangerous to Take Pictures of Bears in the Wild?

It’s really fun to be out in the wild.—Camping, hiking, taking pictures. However, is taking pictures of everything we see always a good idea? For example… wild bears? Is it too  dangerous to take pictures of bears in the wild? I think we all know the answer to this question… Or we at least think we do.

According to Wikipedia, 6 people have died from wild bear attacks since 2011 and a total of 67 people since 1900.—Which isn’t exactly a lot.




Most bear attacks are a result of a defensive response. In other words… a bear sees you, a bear gets scared, a bear runs towards you and then eats your face.

In all seriousness though, a bear attack is obviously nothing fun; and the best way to avoid a bear attack is to avoid them. So is it dangerous to take pictures of bears in the wild? Watch the video below and decide for yourself.
